1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Services.
2. Who can use ProductPylot
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization to these terms.
3. Your account
You sign in with a one-time code we email you, or with Google. Anyone who can read your email can sign in to your account, so keep your email account secure. You agree to:
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Not share your account with anyone else.
- Tell us right away at support@productpylot.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- Take responsibility for everything that happens under your account.
4. Free and paid features
ProductPylot is free to use right now. Some features, including AI features, may have usage limits so the Services stay available for everyone.
We may introduce paid plans in the future. Before you buy one, we’ll show you the price, the billing period, how renewal works, and how to cancel. You won’t be charged unless you choose a paid plan. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, and refunds follow our Refund Policy.
5. Your content
“Your content” means what you add to the Services or create with them: resumes, cover letters, uploaded files, job descriptions, notes, and anything else.
- You own your content.
- You give ProductPylot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, and display your content only as needed to provide and improve the Services for you, including sending it to our service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You’re responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the right to use it and that it doesn’t break the law or anyone else’s rights.
- If you create a share link or invite collaborators, you decide who sees your resume. Anyone you give the link to may be able to view it.
6. AI-generated content
The Services use AI to write and improve resume content, check and tailor resumes, and draft cover letters (“AI output”). AI output can be wrong, and it can include details you never provided, such as numbers, results, or skills. Check every suggestion before you use it, and keep only what is true about you.
You’re responsible for everything you send to employers, including AI output you choose to keep. ATS scores and match scores are estimates that help you improve your resume; they don’t predict how a specific employer or system will rate you. We don’t promise any job search outcome, such as interviews or offers.
7. Job listings
Jobs on ProductPylot come from third-party sources. We don’t verify every listing and can’t promise that a job is accurate, still open, or legitimate. We’re not the employer and not part of any hiring decision. Applications you send, and any agreement with an employer, are between you and that employer.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services to break any law.
- Lie about your identity, qualifications, or work history to mislead employers or others.
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or harmful.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or try to extract source code, data, or models from the Services.
- Disrupt or overload the Services, or get around usage limits or access controls.
- Use the Services to build a competing product or train a competing AI model.
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer your account or access without our written permission.
9. Our intellectual property
The Services, including our software, templates, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks, belong to ProductPylot or our licensors. Your content is yours (see section 5). As long as you follow these terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal job search. Resumes and cover letters you create with our templates are yours to use in your job search.
10. Third-party services
The Services link to and rely on services from other companies, such as Google sign-in, job sources, AI model providers, and our payment provider. We aren’t responsible for those services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
11. Closing your account
You can stop using the Services and delete your account from your profile settings at any time. We may suspend or close your account, with or without notice, if you break these terms or if we reasonably believe your use puts ProductPylot, other users, or others at risk. Sections that by their nature should continue after your account closes, such as ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability, will continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We don’t promise that the Services will be error-free or secure, or that they will lead to any job search result.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ProductPylot and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from or related to the Services. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid ProductPylot in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$100.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ProductPylot and its affiliates against claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these terms or the law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve the issue. Any dispute that we can’t resolve will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer and the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, or other rights these terms can’t limit, those rights still apply.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app where appropriate. If you keep using the Services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
